I know it's repetitive, but you have to do this or the western leaders take silence as support.
Look at Trump with his recent claims of Russian approval for NATO troops on the ground in Ukraine and a direct head to head meeting between Putin and Zelensky.

Trump managed to dodge his way out of the 500% bonecrushing sanctions against India and China by calling the summit with Putin.
God knows what Witkoff promised to get Putin to the table but that was obviously walked back during the EU/NATO/Zelensky meeting in the Whitehouse.
Now he's swung back behind Ukraine and is pushing for a settlement that he knows is unacceptable to the Russians.
I guess soon enough we'll be once again hearing of "bonecrushing sanctions" but this time not against India or China.

I don't think the talks are going anywhere.
Yeah, there's a narrative being set up in the western media.
Trump is shooting his mouth off with little pushback from the Russians.
Maybe it suits the Russians to allow the process to string along before ultimately failing.
