Not really, if nothing else, DK would have been the same, but one thing I think was going to happen was DK being more 'upright'. By DK64 he was standing upright more and I think Rare was definitely going to try to return to a 2D format given how DK64's development went, something a little more easy to work with. I definitely believe that the Konga games and Jungle Beat would not have existed, and Diddy would be absent from all the Mario spin-offs, Jr. filling in. Diddy if Pilot was anything to go by would have probably started to develop his own brand of games.

Given how poorly Jungle Beat sold let alone the Konga titles after the first game, Rare's DK games would have done well regardless of the direction. The GBA games proved this tenfold.

That's Sabreman Stampede. Which grew out of Donkey Kong Racing, yes, but fundamentally is not Donkey Kong Racing.

As of right now we seem to have absolutely nothing of DKR's brief existence other than one piece of concept art and the initial 2001 CGI teaser.
