Just to point out how this works. Pic related is today.
Autumn with cold-ish weather and not much sun, so it produces only a fraction of what it can, but:
>day started with 50% battery charge
>first charge battery
>is full at 10:20
>control circuit of the heating unit kicks in and starts heating a buffer for the central heating
>it strictly tries to follow the production of the inverter
>quick load or production changes get compensated by the grid, which is the only thing its for
I can go completely off-grid, but then i don't have that compensation and voltage drops and raises a bit sometimes, which does tend to kill light bulbs more often, but all electronics are fine with it.

On a household-level, this stuff is amazing. And its the most efficient because everything is in one place.
The battery doesn't need an extra converter, it has the one of the solar. The heating unit doesn't need to do magic guessing how much excess-energy exists, it can communicate with the inverter.

Currently there are no subsidies and panels are cheaper than they were with subsidies.
