Carrots are 2-3 mil each so that person spent anywhere between 1 bil and 3 bil gil to get it, maybe less if they started earlier while carrots were 1 mil.
Drop rate for carrots was estimated at like 1/130 from OC overworld bronze chests.

For example I opened 469 chests and have all but 2 jobs at max rank as well as 1 full gear set at +2. Wanna guess how many carrots I got in all this time in OC?
