Most of your listed changes to it would pretty heavily tone down my spite towards it, though I still feel Vindicator's Mark needs more alterations. I'd even accept "you only spend a focus point if you actually mark a target", because that would let it stay as a class-specific ranged spell attack to make use of its damn primary edge benefit.

I'm also just not willing to be anything but critical of the way character options are designed, partly because I'm spiteful about how little any of my problems from 1e actually felt fixed. There's still arbitrary feat taxes and obtuse bullshit all over, it's just different now, and now I have to deal with classes that feel like I'm only allowed 1/3rd what they should be capable of, because everything had to be chopped up between more class feats than they deserve, just to pad out space.
