Later on the story, Santa is affected by a curse that's slowly killing him, so he sets Pink free and ask her to sell his weapon and gear, then use the money to start a new life. She refuses and says she never wants to leave her side.
Then another group takes them both in, dispel Santa's curse and get him back to full health- the first thing he does is treat Pink like crap again lol.
