The thing is, Granblue exists and is doing costumes on a regular basis. Also, I doubt it would be hard for them to simply change the hair colour for some characters. They did it for Gogeta during his dramatic finish against Janemba.

As far as I can remember, there were characters and voice packs in Fighterz as paid DLC and that's it. Everything else was free (one stage, colours, Videl's alternate haircut, stickers).
