The boomers in general have little self-awareness but still, it's shocking that a group so large can go through life like that. Their entire lives they stumbled into jobs, wealth, safety and didn't fail enough it seems. Their parents created a world where you couldn't fail without trying to. I've seen people born into wealth sometimes act like that, but a lot of rich parents started out poor/middle class, so they tried to avoid that wealth trap with their kids.

It's an overused meme. Same with the word racist. Ever since obama got elected, anything that republicans disagreed with democrats about got them called racist. 15 years of repeating the same trope gets stale, it has no power anymore.
