You're mostly right, but "US comeuppance" is laughable unless you mean "more top down abuses done to the people who had the least choice to make about anything the US has ever done, while the people that are most responsible get away richer than they started." Cause that's all the forecast predicts, same as it ever was. Do you think the billionaires that own this country would stick around if a bunch of nukes came our way?
