Blasts Heard in Crimea, Fire Reported at Russian Port Across Kerch Strait

Explosions were reported overnight in several districts of Russian-occupied Crimea, including the city of Kerch, while a significant fire broke out at Port Kavkaz in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, situated across the Kerch Strait.
The "Krymsky Veter" ("Crimean Wind") Telegram channel, a monitoring group, reported the incidents. According to the group, blasts were also heard in the Dzhankoi district and Feodosia. The fire at Port Kavkaz was subsequently confirmed by data from NASA's Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS), which tracks large heat signatures globally.
Russia's Ministry of Defence stated that its air defense systems had downed a total of nine drones overnight. The ministry claimed two were intercepted over Crimea, two over the Sea of Azov, and five over the Krasnodar region.
