I noticed the Xbox version of DW3 has an additional option for Japanese subtitles that the English PS2 version (including XL) doesn't have and it basically makes the game half English and half Japanese. All the menus and field names are still English, but all dialogue and battle notifications are Japanese. Weird way of doing it
