Which adaptive mods are you using? The only adaptive storage I find I have issues with is the Adpative Primitive Storage cellars because they limit their usage to one pawn at a time and all other haul jobs to them are blocked until the one haul job is completed.
I just set this Adaptive Ideology Storage meal crate to critical and my giver PUAH'd every existing meal to put into it.
