Relaying what someone said earlier on the thread regarding hospice - often times dementia patients or those on their death beds will have a moment of "lucidity" where they suddenly are like their old selves again before their illness or dementia. This is what Kinger has reminded me of throughout the show - he becomes lucid when he goes into a "dark place".

I predict he will be the first character to abstract, not Jax, OR he is "Abel" due to his minute display of control inside the circus. Maybe he's gorked by Caine previous to being inside of the circus.
