Do police chases even make sense? If the cops wouldn't chase the guy, he wouldn't speed.
Obviously there are many situations where it is necessary, after a murder or serious crime, but there are so many cases where the guy stole a snickers bar at a convenience store or some shit, and they go on a 130 mph deadly car chase.
