Generally good for both police and the public. Blatantly unjustified shootings/arrests are far less common as a result, as are planting drugs and other corrupt tactics, but it still happens occasionally.
I think there should be cameras running 24/7 in every single room of police departments, to capture what happens when they turn the bodycams off. There is so obviously still corrupt police, and in extreme cases like the LAPD/LACSD literally fucking gangs within the departments
