It'll never cease to amaze me how there really are people out there who legitimately have no idea how to communicate their love in a way that isn't completely toxic. I've met a few of them before and they're thoroughly unpleasant people to be around 90% of the time. Having to grow up around them can really fuck a person's self-esteem up.
