Why do most people hate talking about politics, culture & the news cycle?
I've always wanted to just experience someone walking up to me and explaining what I don't understand about politics and culture and the zeitgeist and who's doing what....
But others don't feel the same way.
This is such a strong consensus that even homeless people HATE talking about culture and politics.
From my layman's perspective, it's almost as if even the homeless who got backstabbed the hardest by the system, refuse to bite back.
Why is that? Are they retarded or is it me who is? It's such a pervasive pattern across all demographics that I am FORCED to consider that this time, I'm the one who's in the wrong.

For context, i live in a ultra-zogged metropolis in canada. If anything people here get backstabbed even harder, and so in my estimation, should be twice as interested in talking about their problems, but it's the exact opposite. The more they get beaten down and punished, the more they are obedient, to the point where literally the homeless guy is subordinate which is batshit to me.
