They are really testing the patience of their fans. Their 15th Anniversary so far has been nothing but promotions and marketing, also a big advertising for the next performance of the Neptunia live musical. If Tsunako's piece from so many months ago was a peak at the next game, then I wonder what the holdup is.
To be fair, they've been shoving a lot of releases out the door lately, not just Neptunia, and also not just games they develop exclusively by themselves. The last three games this year were all different IPs, and of those three games, only one of them was developed exclusively in-house at Compa. That being said, just because Compa isn't the sole developer doesn't mean they're not involved in the creation process, so I'm sure their resources are all spent elsewhere at the moment.
At the time they announced DERQ Z, they also dropped announcements for several other game projects all at once, most of those games having been released already with the last one that just came out in August. Apart from DERQ3, the real sequel, still in development, I don't think Compa has anymore games to release right now, but that also means you now have two games currently in development in-house at Compa for the time being.
