This case is a much better comparison than Kirk. Shot a guy who reflexively tried to pull his pants up while his partner barked idiotic orders to crawl toward them with his hands up. Was found not guilty in a trial because, hey, the guy put his hand down. No real outrage because the video didn't get released until after the trial.
