well. as a single player game player, i almost never want patches or updates. 'balance fixes' sounds to me like removing fun builds i figured out. i usually updates them if i can. if i run into some breaking issue i might update, but only after carefully reading patch notes.
about the devs... what does it matter? the game has been released. they've already baked the cake so talk about the cake not the baker. imo.

it would be nice to meet someone on here to play with, but i'm not so optimistic.
