and however few jews there were, 40% of them owned slaves and even that number is putting it nicely because it doesnt even include the jewish women and children who didnt 'legally' own slaves, but actually did as part of the registered jewish owner's household. so technically it was probably closer to around 80-90% of jews who owned slaves, as opposed to the 0.35% of white people who did. and those white people very likely only did so because jews essentially came in like walmart and threatened white people economically by massively undercutting them into either adapting to using slave labor or risk losing their farms and not be able to put food on the table for their families because they wouldnt be able to sell their goods as cheap as moshe could.
