Hey /adv/, I went on a downward spiral after my cat died and racked up >$9,000 in debt on three of my credit cards.
I'm essentially un-hireable as I've spent my entire life on disability and only working under the table jobs for 30 years.
I'm living basically paycheck to paycheck (as I have my entire life) but now with the extra credit payments I'm basically in a debt spiral where it's only going up.
How do I, an adult male in America, make like $500 a month so I can stop the spiral? As previously stated, I'm applying everywhere but I won't even get calls back due to age/work history and they'd rather hire somebody younger without work history.
I used to be a writer, but since chatGPT and other AI writing sources came out I haven't had a single job, I'm willing to do labor as I usually do, but I can't even find that shit.
