Easily some of the best gaming mechanicals around, split ergo, open source w/Linux native firmware/config software, and fully independent on each side. Has both gamer features and productivity/ergonomic stuff, solid build quality, options for wireless (2.4g and BT both, plus wired of course) and tenting/tilting, palm pads so your wrists don't get raped, macro/extra keys in places you can actually make use of them instead of just a cluster off to the side etc.

Defy is columnar and is sort of the closest thing to the ZSA Moonlander style layout but has more thumb keys, Raise 2 is traditional staggered but splits space bar into 4 and puts 4 low profile switches below that; you can also use it together if you don't want it split. I used to have a N52TE / Logi G13 gameboard so this is a nice way to get the best of both worlds.. Defy's layout is a bit harder to learn, Raise2's easier and you just need to get used to split, but until then you can used it joined and move it apart bit by bit.
