I have fantastic news.
Replacing the ground beef with ground sausage in my breakfast burritos has turned them from barely edible to absolutely delicious. I made other changes too, like removing the potatoes and adding cheese, but the switch to sausage was by far the biggest contributing factor towards them becoming edible.
Also I precooked only the sausage and now I cook the eggs and assemble everything in the morning rather than making the burritos ahead of time and freezing them. Scrambled eggs get kind watery and loose their flavor when you freeze them.
