I saw this happen to the main dev of After Protocol (formerly "Beyond Protocol") when a self-described forum website full of "pre-chatbot" psychopaths harrassed him regarding the then-recent death of a family member, that free and open-source game still sees updates on my "old" windows 7 gaming computer, so he is still around, even if I do not really spend the time to learn how to play that jankey MMORTS game.
