Did they ever get a good Skyrim multiplayer mod running?

My only experience with modpacks was Nolvus like over a year ago on an older pc.

I have a decent new pre-built now and wonder if Nolvus is good still or there are other better mod packs. It appears Nolvus is about to have an official update and you have to start a new game so it's better to wait in that case.
