I bought a thinkpad but can't stand it. The problem isn't the OS, but the hardware. The speakers suck, they are worse than iPad speakers despite having more chassis space to supposedly make speakers better. The trackpoint isn't as good as an apple trackpad. And the touchpad really sucks. So I end up needing to carry around a mouse anyways. The 16:9 screen is really mediocre in terms of brightness and colors, and 16:10 superior. I have Arch KDE installed which is nice, but not as nice as MacOS of course.

Anyways, I snipped this T14 G1 for cheap but I'll end up trading it for a Macbook Air M2 my uncle bought a year ago but didn't like and has been sitting since then. Sorry Thinkpads, but once you go Mac you can't go bac.
