Carrying on with regions to avoid:

- Minnesota is so much worse than most Europeans realize. It used to be overwhelmingly White (99% in the 1950s) but now has large Somali populations and the local Whites are often the worst variety of pseudo-intellectual Leftist that you can imagine. It's a hotspot for anti-Trump sentiment and I have a friend who was doxxed and fired for fairly mild views.

- New York City. Unless you have a passive stream of income already established in the UK, the cost of living in a nice neighborhood will be very difficult to manage. You likely won't be able to build up savings and get your own home.

- Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. If you don't want to be around Blacks then I recommend staying away from the Southern "Black Belt." The locals are much friendlier than Blacks in places like Detroit, but they're still very unpredictable. They're also concentrated in certain areas. Most American Blacks live in the Deep South or in urban cities that they moved to during the Great Migration. My grandparents had never seen a Black person until they were in their 20s because their state never had slave plantations.
