>Also they'll sometimes divebomb after doing this, which hits for about 20% of your hp + burn, often putting you 1 hit from death because you thought it was your turn and it just never actually is
>If they burn you, it can take between 30-80% of your hp in one hit
>They'll exit the field entirely to summon allies whenever they feel like it. There is no counter to this. They can just do it. Whenever they want.
>The field has 3 boxes on them you need to do simon says minigames to open, the only way to get items on this mao
>It takes over 10 seconds per box even if done perfect
>Enemies break them in 3 hits; bosses can 1 shot them
>They aggro on them
>There are healing carts, but even THOSE take over an entire combo to break and the items they drop barely heal
Legitimately the worst designed bosses I've ever seen not just in this genre, but up there as the worst I've seen in any game ever
This is stage 2 btw. I have 0 points in my skill tree, I have 0 items equipped. I have 0 ability to negate anything they do or improve my abilities. They simply WILL do 80% of my life in one attack.

I don't understand what the fuck happened in the decade between this and Valdis. the bosses were the HIGHTLIGHT of that game.
They ruin this game. Actively anti-fun. Why is it 2 invincible spamming dudes + infinite adds?
