Not that unrealistic: Paraceratherium, largest ever *known* terrestrial mammal.

(paleoloxodon namadicus, similar to modern elephants may have been larger, but evidence is insufficient)

I wish the paraceratherium made it to today. Rhinos and giraffes are gay and just don't cut it.
