1. Half-baked, low-effort.

2. An actual high-quality polished entry. Things to do that aren’t competitive, grinding for competitive, or box checking (shiny hunting) would be welcome. At this point I’ve largely checked out though.

3. Probably an excessive amount. This is why I’ve become so disillusioned with the series. I’m constantly playing games made by people who actually give a damn, seeing pure dedication come through. Or on the more budget side of things, games that are low-cost, simple, and fun as hell.

Modern pokemon is a vertical slice passed off as a AAA product. I love the creatures, but it turns out buying the games doesn’t actually offer me much there. Pokopia has my interest but I’ll believe it when I see it.
