Well, it does seem like ~271,000 died in the work camps.(Mostly after allied bombings destroyed the supply lines.) But the official narrative is mostly bullshit. (I do enjoy some of the stories about masturbation machines and roller coasters of death dumping jews into ovens and such because they are all so damn silly.)
