>Everything marketed to american gun community is a gimmick/toy.
False and dumb statement
>FRTs are toys. SS are toys.
Current designs and production perhaps, but that doesn't necessarily need to be the case forever
>Anyone with an actual need for select fire will spend the money to get actual select fire guns.
Can't tell if boomer, bootlicker, or cope
>I'll be frank man, what are you even looking for?
To get as close to full auto as possible within current legal constraints
I believe this means FRT SS systems which make the best use of leverage or other mechanical advantage to efficiently and reliably harness reciprocating cyclic action energy to force the trigger to reset even under high stress high pressure operator grip trigger finger force such that the operator can't simply lock the weapons action up and prevent cycling, while also making use of well thought out designs both geometrically and in terms of materials to ensure that the mechanism itself doesn't break.
And I don't think we're that far off. IMO most semi auto platforms have more than ample action energy to defeat the average trigger finger even under high stress high trigger actuation force. I've felt absolutely painful horrendous AK trigger slap in FRT systems, and I've not yet been able to lock my AR's action up with FRT SS mechanism in the cases it had ample gas to begin with.
What is happening at least to me is that the lever in the Atrius SS is snapping under the forces it is transferring from the reciprocating BCG to the trigger finger.
