10/10 greatest momsekai of all time. The Kotone childhood arc was top tier comfy and makes me want more tensei series with comfy childhood arcs that don't go straight into action. Like the first volume of Schuld's TRPG. The middle was mostly a retread of the main series with more Kagami but the butterfly effect aspects still made it a fun read. Glowies/Nillurath arc and the climax were great and felt like a proper final battle, particularly coming off the climax of Atheist Saintess which beatwise felt more like a penultimate battle that somehow ended up being final.

If I had to describe it the Kagami SS2 feels like a true route ending of a VN compared to the main story's normal end even though the divergence point is before the "main" story even starts.
