Why has there been no horrorkino made out of the Diablo 2 franchise? It has so much potential.

How come Diablo II is the only ARPG that can retain peoples interest for more than a week?

Diablol 2 is one of my favourite games it's about walking in basements and killing red goblins and skeletons too, later you meet a pigeon man but he doesn't do anything whole game.
