>Castcolle [Bento and the Future] Hiori summary

Hiori is in her room, looking fidgety and upset. She will be featured in a magazine special about newlywed life and has been asked to act in a promotional video for it, meant to express a feeling of "relying on one's husband". But despite being picked for this job, Hiori does not quite "get" married life, and she finds the idea of depending on others especially strange: wouldn't acting spoiled with your partner just sour the relationship? She scours the web for opinions, but of course all she finds is negativity. She comes to the conclusion that marriage can only work for "kind people" and it's "definitely not suited to someone like her".
The next day, Producer notices there's something troubling Hiori and gets her talking. He finds her hang-ups about relationships to be "very Hiori-like" and understandable given her age, but she has another job starting soon and there's no time to discuss things, so he decides to just keep an eye on the situation and intervene as needed.

Some time later, Producer finds Hiori in the 283 kitchen preparing a bento. She explains she's doing image training to prepare for the role, and enlists Producer's help to act as the husband. The two play out a lovey-dovey skit that ends with the husband telling the dutiful wife it's okay for her to take it easier. Hiori and Producer go back to discussing her doubts and he sort of drops the magic words, telling her that sure married life is about relying on each other and sometimes acting spoiled, but it's also about "worrying for your partner and letting them worry for you". His specific choice of words seems to click with worrywart Hiori, who gets the insight she couldn't get from her own research.
