I personally prefer KDE Plasma now, but the reality is that the Linux Desktop is dominated by GTK/Libadwaita apps. Using KDE Plasma is like using Windows 11, but the majority of your apps are GNOME/GTK, it just doesn't fit. Except for some cross platform apps, they mostly use qt, like qbittorrent and emulators.

If you want to have a consistent desktop, you have to go with GNOME or at least a GTK desktop like Cinnamon or XFCE. But it makes sense, I mean Ubuntu, Fedora and Flathub go hand in hand with GNOME. If you don't know what I mean: Just install Flatseal or Bazaar on KDE Plasma and open Dolphin next to it.
