I still think the best relationship dynamic they could have given Cyrene long-term was her as a trio with Phainon and Mydei. Phainon would actually be allowed to treat his childhood friend like she actually was his best friend in AE, and Mydei's weird memory shenanigans would have some basis if she were involved. Instead, for the sake of sales, Cyrene is now Caelus' pump and dump waifu, who was not allowed to form any meaningful or fleshed out relationships in Amphoreus, and she'll be dumped for Space Japan Yae when we move on. This is worse than Firefly or Castorice, and I'll never forgive them, especially since they're making her less cute to look more like Elysia.
