It's something I find weird about japanese character design sensibilities in particular. Like when you see a lot of asian artists draw western cartoon styled characters, for some reason they very often separate the eyes (if they weren't already) and it rarely ever looks right. I feel like they have the opposite sentiment because in their animation, characters eyes are usually spaced further apart. They did this with K Rool too in the paon games and even with the smash design, like that particular thing with eyes bothers them.
Has me a little worried, I mean I'll be happy if he's back in any capacity, but I am a little worried about how they're going to redesign K Rool if he is, don't massacre my boy please EPD.
