Sorry I meant combined those two jobs could barely afford a two bedroom apartment. Also about the grocery clerks I meant I worked alongside single men who owned homes by doing nothing but working at a grocery store for 20 years. One guy owned two homes but he refurbished toilets on the side so I suppose he doesn't count.
