You guys are fucking morons. Just like Zelda fans who fell for the open world meme, you fell for the same trap. These 3D games we've been getting are all ass. All of them. The pokemon look worse in 3D than they did in their beautiful 2D sprites.
You've replaced memorable routes with generic open empty grass fields. Pokemon designs have suffered with this change too, now that everything is 3D all Pokemon are created rounded and soft because it's easier to animate.
You've killed your franchise dead, accept it and get over it.
Like I mentioned earlier, Zelda did the same thing. We had dungeons every Zelda game that were memorable as fuck, fun to play through and had cool bosses and minibosses in them.
Open world Zelda dungeons are a fucking joke, they're garbage and unmemorable.
Old Zelda had some of the best and most memorable and catchy music in vidya, now it's been replaced by some garbage 'le atmospheric' sound playing every minute and that's supposed to be our replacement to music?
Pokemon has similarly suffered in the music department.

I was satisfied with Pokemon remaining 2D. 2D is beautiful. Sprites are beautiful. The old Pokemon formula of traveling the region and challenging gyms then the Pokemon league then doing postgame was what I originally fell in love with and it's all I asked for from future Pokemon games.
New Pokemon wastes your time with hours long intros, talking and wasting time with slow ass animations I don't fucking care about.
