in faggot circles, this debate is related to "is dysphoria/passing necessary to be trans" and they guard those debates heavily from the outside because to the outside they constantly try to argue about insufficient social definitions. if they admitted "also we're not actually dysphoric" then they're kinda admitting they recognize a natural law but are demanding that we all ignore it
