The MT appearances are in the same box as the other challenge mode armor/weapons, and the elite pvp sets and illusions. If they brought any of these back then people would be demanding for all of them to come back.
I will admit the Mythic Helya mogs coming back was surprising since I put them in the same category as the stuff above, but Blizzard apparently didn't.
