That's why I mod. Because MHY won't do it. And I think that's why MHY won't do anything about modding that's essentially just overlays on the characters: because they would never make a lot of skins.
And the reason they won't is because they don't have anyone dedicated enough to make skins, because they don't earn much with skins for Genshin anyway.
