Not really. South East is the most populous. It's where all the biggest farms and population centres are. But in summer it's normal to be between 30-40 degrees and HIGH humidity. The closest Australia gets to U.K. temps is Tasmania. But even that gets to 30+ in summer and no one cares (though it is much dryer). The worst places (though not the hottest) are the North East. 100% humidity, high 30's in thunder storms. Absolute shithole.
