yeah no, no one who's actually nice has ever identified themselves as Le Nice Guy. They certainly don't make it the building block of their entire personality either, they might be nice but they're also charismatic and outgoing and adventurous and a bunch of other stuff.

Exactly, and "nice guys" 100% follow that same pattern where it's all "please" and "thank you" and flowers for dates at first and then sooner or later they completely go insane with jealousy and forbid their quirky chungus girlfriend from going out with their friends because there's a male in the group or whatever
