It'll stop when the average person stops associating AI with third worlder scams and insane schizophrenic family members spamming bullshit on social media. But given that the goal of every tech company right now is to make AI even more accessible (spammable), I doubt that will happen.
Maybe at some point the 'silent majority' will accept it, as >>11385451 suggests, but it still won't be viewed positively. It'll be like gacha, or microtransactions, or scrolling brainrot trash for 10 hours a day, or ordering grubhub at 2x markup, or any other vice that everyone seems to agree is complete shit that's making the world worse yet at the same time everyone seems to still be pouring money and attention towards.
