I can't understand people who game on CRTs under 20 inches. It's a really shit experience, these small TVs were literally made for kids to watch VHS on, or as a secondary set you'd have in a small bedroom or in your kitchen or something.

No they fucking aren't, that's a cope. Ideal size for 8-16 bit games is 20+ inches and if you're playing anything 3D post 5th gen you gotta AT LEAST have a 24 incher.
It's not like 20+ inch CRTs are that much more expensive or rare compared to little sets, if you're in the market to buy a CRT for retro gaming, do yourself a favor and stay away from little CRTs as your main driver.
Maybe get one if you like collecting CRTs and you want a 2nd or 3rd option just for then lolz
