There's literally nothing gated behind the story though. With how the game is set up, you can just farm materials, roll gacha, and upgrade characters without any restrictions. A skip button changes literally nothing about your day to day experience with the game. Even with a brand new free to pleb account, I can skip to Amphoreus right now if I felt inclined to.
