>I can listen to cell phone signals on a fucking $15 SDR
I do appreciate the proof that you have no fucking clue what you're talking about.
>Here in N.Z. anyway not some 3rd world shithole using obsolete cracked tech
I work for an international telco, where I am today doesn't reflect where I'll be next month. I've worked in Australia though and I guess NZ is pretty similar. And also, just because it's so fun showing how ignorant you are... 3rd world countries tend to have newer equipment than North America.
>Not the "pings" or any part of the signal. Because I don't have the decryption software.
You're listening to waves in a frequency band that is being transcoded(not even really, more like transliterated lmao) to a representative audible wavelength. You wouldn't be able to understand what people were saying over the phone even if it was completely unencrypted with an SDR. I could broadcast G722.2/iLBC/GSM completely unencrytped and your SDR would hear nothing in the Media Stream. You're just so dumb, stop talking, I beg you.
